Registering a birth, council by council
What will differ between councils once each guide is verified — how you book, what a full certificate costs, how long the wait is — and what an Indian family does next. No guide is published yet.
No council guides are published yet. 4 of the 5 seeded councils are verified on every local fact except the appointment wait, which no council publishes; the rest are still missing the facts named in the table below. So under the rule below no page has been generated for any of them. That is the framework working, not a failure of it.
Why there are not more of these
A council page exists here only once its register office, booking method, full-certificate cost and typical wait have been read from the council’s own site and dated. If any of those is still unverified, no page is generated for it.
That rule is enforced by the generator, not by good intentions: an entry with any required field missing is skipped and the reason printed. There is no override flag, deliberately — the only way to get a page is to go and verify the facts.
The alternative is the pattern common on agency sites: one template, hundreds of council names swapped through it, nothing local in any of them. Those pages are worthless to a parent, and publishing them would undermine the one thing this report is for.

The form, the fee and the documents on the Indian side are the same wherever in the UK you live; what changes is the council step, and which VFS centre and consular jurisdiction you fall under.
